Abstract

Ein Verfahren zum Durchführen einer enzymatischen Reaktion, insbesondere zum Durchführen einer PCR, umfasst die Entnahme wenigstens einer Eukaryontenzelle aus einem Ausgangsmaterial, das Anfärben des Zellkerns bzw. der Zellkerne der Eukaryontenzelle(n), das Ablegen wenigstens einer Eukaryontenzelle auf einer Reaktionsstelle eines festen Substrats in einem Flüssigkeitsvolumen von weniger als 10 μl, das Detektieren, ob wenigstens ein gefärbter Zellkern auf einer Reaktionsstelle des Substrats vorliegt, die anschließende Zugabe von Enzym und gegebenenfalls Reaktionspuffer zu der/ den Eukaryontenzelle(n) sowie abschließend den Start der enzymatischen Reaktion. Vorzugsweise wird das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren unter Einsatz eines Durchflusszytometers durchgeführt.
