Abstract

Es werden ein Verbundwerkstoff, ein Verbundbauteil aus demselben und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metall-keramischen Verbundwerkstoffs oder eines Verbundbauteils vorgeschlagen. Der Verbundwerkstoff bzw. das Verbundbauteil entsteht durch das nachfolgend beschriebene Verfahren. In einem ersten Schritt erfolgt das Herstellen eines porösen keramischen Vorkörpers aus einer keramischen Ausgangsmasse und in einem zweiten Schritt die Infiltration des porösen keramischen Vorkörpers mit einer Metallschmelze, wobei die keramische Ausgangsmasse einen keramischen Hauptbestandteil und einen mit diesem Hauptbestandteil reaktiven keramischen Nebenbestandteil umfasst und wobei während des ersten und/oder zweiten Schrittes der Nebenbestandteil zumindest teilweise mit dem Hauptbestandteil reagiert.
