Abstract

L'invention concerne un moteur diesel à turbocompresseur de grande taille doté de chaudières de gaz d'échappement et d'une turbine motrice servant à récupérer de l'énergie des gaz d'échappement. Une des chaudières peut former une seule pièce avec les récepteurs de gaz d'échappement. Une partie du flux de gaz d'échappement en amont de la turbine du turbocompresseur est dérivée vers la turbine motrice. Ce moteur comprend une chaudière de préchauffage côté basse pression du turbocompresseur de la turbine, tandis qu'une chaudière superchauffante est disposée côté haute pression de la turbine du turbocompresseur. Le moteur peut fonctionner avec de l'air de reprise hautement humidifiée, ce qui permet d'accroître la quantité d'énergie des gaz d'échappement qui peut être récupérée. Le moteur peut également fonctionner comme une pompe à chaleur, à savoir, les gaz d'échappement sortant du moteur possédant une température inférieure à la température ambiante.
