Abstract

A sanitary napkin is disclosed, which includes an extended menstrual-blood absorbing portion formed on an upper portion and snugly fitted in a valley extending from a virginal region to a perineum and an anal tailbone, so as to prevent menstrual blood or fluid from traveling along a gap between the body and the sanitary napkin by completely closely contacting the body and the sanitary napkin and perfectly absorbing the menstrual blood flowing along the intergluteal crevice. The extended menstrual-blood absorbing portion is formed on the upper portion, and is snugly fitted in the valley extending from the virginal region to the intergluteal crevice from the perineum to the anal tailbone, thereby making wearing sensations and contact better, and coping with worry and sense of shame about the flow of menstrual blood by perfectly absorbing the menstrual blood flowing along the intergluteal crevice while a wearer putting on the sanitary napkin is lying. The sanitary napkin is inexpensively manufactured by installing the extended menstrual-blood absorbing portion on a conventional flat sanitary napkin, while improving the function of the sanitary napkin.
