Abstract

The present invention relates to a sanitary napkin with an auxiliary pad. The sanitary napkin of the present invention includes a main pad for absorbing menstrual discharge; an auxiliary pad positioned at the anal part of the body to absorb menstrual discharge; and an elastic string for interconnecting the main pad and the auxiliary pad. The auxiliary pad includes an outer cover having an elliptical shape; an inner cover extended upwardly from an edge of the outer cover and closed; and an absorbent core interposed between the outer cover and the inner cover to absorb menstrual discharge. The thus-configured sanitary napkin of the present invention is capable of absorbing menstrual discharge or vaginal discharge flowing toward the anal part of the body during sleeping or in the case of a large quantity of menstrual discharge. The auxiliary pad can be spaced apart from the main pad by the elastic string, enabling a wearer to adjust the position of the auxiliary pad in accordance with the shape of the body thereof. Further, the auxiliary pad can be replaced if necessary.
