Abstract

L’invention concerne des systèmes et méthodes pour générer et interfacer un patient virtuel sur un système d’affichage, par exemple un système d’affichage stéréoscopique configuré pour imiter un lit d'hôpital. Ce système peut utiliser des données représentant l’anatomie humaine, par exemple des données du National Institutes of Health Visible Human Project. Le patient virtuel peut être un système d’affichage mobile complet pour une anatomie humaine de taille réelle pouvant être placé dans des espaces existants de laboratoires. Le simulateur peut être commandé par une interface utilisateur graphique (GUI).
