Abstract

Disclosed are systems and methods for generating and interfacing with a Virtual Patient on a display system, for example a stereoscopic display system configured to mimic a patient bed. This system can use data representing human anatomy, for example, data from the National Institutes of Health Visible Human Project. The virtual patient can be an all-inclusive, mobile display system, for full-scale human anatomy that can be placed in existing lab spaces. The simulator can be controlled through a graphical user interface (GUI).
