Abstract
L'invention concerne un module d'affichage bistable optiquement adressable comprenant une pile de photoconducteurs (PL) et une matière bistable (DL) qui est prise en sandwich entre une première électrode (E1) et une seconde électrode (E2) afin d'obtenir un dispositif d'affichage (RD). Un dispositif lumineux (LS) éclaire le dispositif d'affichage (RD). Un pilote de lumière (LD) pilote le dispositif lumineux (LS) et un pilote de données (DR) fournit une tension pilote (VD) entre la première électrode (E1) et la seconde électrode (E2). Un dispositif de commande (CO) commande le pilote de lumière (LD) et le pilote de données (DR) afin d'obtenir une séquence comprenant au moins une première phase et une seconde phase succédant à la première. La séquence comprend au moins une première phase d'adresse (TA1), et une phase d'effacement (TR) et/ou une phase de veille (TO) et/ou une seconde phase d'adresse (T A2). Le dispositif de commande (CO) commande, durant une transition (TU, TD) de la première phase vers la seconde phase : (i) le pilote de données (DR) afin de modifier la tension pilote (VD) d'un premier niveau à un niveau suivant, et (ii) le pilote de lumière (LD) afin de mettre sensiblement et de façon coïncidante hors tension le dispositif lumineux (LS). Dans cette approche, un état optique du dispositif d'affichage (RD) est conservé sensiblement non altéré durant la transition (TU, TD).
