Abstract

Methods and systems for assisting students with language translation are disclosed. A search string in a first language may be received from a user. One or more text segments may be retrieved from a database. Each text string may include the search string. The database may include a plurality of text segments in the first language. The database may also include a plurality of text segments in a second language that represent direct translations of and correspond to the text segments in the first language. Alternately, a retrieved text segment may be translated into a second language. At least one of the retrieved text segments may be output in both the first language and the second language.
