Abstract

Système microfluidique associé à un pompage sur la puce et pouvant être utilisé en chromatographie liquide et également en spectrométrie de masse à ionisation par électropulvérisation, tout en permettant d'obtenir une efficacité améliorée, une intégration accrue avec des capteurs, une portabilité augmentée, une consommation électrique limitée et un coût diminué. Ce système peut comprendre (A) une puce principale composée d'une substrat présentant une face avant et une face arrière, d'une colonne chromatographique sur la face avant dudit substrat, ladite colonne possédant une entrée et une sortie, d'un ajutage d'ionisation par électropulvérisation (ESI) sur la face avant dudit substrat, ledit ajutage possédant une entrée et une sortie, l'entrée de l'ajutage étant couplée de façon microfluidique à la sortie de la colonne, d'un ou de plusieurs systèmes de pompage sur la face avant dudit substrat comportant une chambre de pompage, une ou plusieurs électrodes et une sortie couplée de façon microfluidique à l'entrée de ladite colonne. Ce système peut également comporter (B) une puce réservoir présentant une surface avant et une surface arrière et dont la surface arrière est pourvue d'une ou de plusieurs cavités qui, quand elles sont placées à côté de la surface avant de la puce principale, augmentent le volume de la chambre de pompage d'un des systèmes de pompage. On peut mettre en application des techniques de microfabrication afin de préparer ces puces qu'on peut ensuite monter avec un couvercle et insérer dans un gabarit de contrôle électronique et d'analyse spectrale de masse. Ce système permet d'effectuer des séparations de peptides pouvant être mises en concurrence avec des systèmes de l'état actuel de la technique.
