  • the stress relieving indents may be of a variety of shapes. It may further be recognized that multiple indents of various or similar shapes may be applied to a single unit. The concept is that the indent yields additional material when the film/foil is being formed into a greater shape by flattening or deforming as the film is stretched, thereby yielding stress relief to the greater shape.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un emballage de type poche formé d'un film mince qui comprend une paroi avant, une paroi arrière, des joints de bordure reliant les parois avant et arrière, et au moins une formation courbée formée dans une paroi dudit emballage de type poche. Un renfoncement d'élimination de tension est formé dans la paroi dans laquelle est constituée la formation courbée. Ce renfoncement d'élimination de tension permet d'éliminer l'amincissement excessif ou la fissuration sous tension au niveau des coins de ladite formation courbée.
