Abstract
Description
Adapter zur lösbaren Befestigung von Sensoren an einer Kraft¬ fahrzeug-OberflächeAdapter for releasably securing sensors to a vehicle surface
Stand der TechnikState of the art
The invention relates to an adapter for the detachable attachment of sensors to a motor vehicle surface according to the preamble of claim 1.
For diagnostic and adjustment tasks on a body of a motor vehicle, it is sometimes necessary to adapt sensors, for example in the form of detection and measuring devices, measuring means and the like, to the body temporarily for the duration of the diagnosis or adjustment.
It has already been proposed to glue such sensors temporarily to the bodywork. It is disadvantageous that the parts to be joined must be free from dust and grease as well as dry, otherwise no adequate support is ensured. In addition, the reusability due to the possible contamination of the adhesive is limited. In addition, the application gene of adhesive tape or adhesive on the sensor before the diagnosis and the subsequent removal consuming and time consuming.
Alternatively, adhesive films are used to attach sensors to the body. Because of their low adhesion forces, the use of adhesive films is limited only to films for advertising purposes, where they are used on particularly flat and smooth surfaces, such as e.g. Glass panes, be attached.
Magnetic adapters are also known which adhere to a magnetizable surface by means of magnetic forces. It is disadvantageous that magnets on today increasingly used unmagnet¬ tables materials such. Plastic, aluminum and carbon are not usable.
Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention
The adapter according to the invention for the releasable attachment of sensors comprises a support element and at least one adapter attachment connected to the support element, which can be fixed by means of negative pressure on a motor vehicle surface. The term sensor should be understood in the broadest sense and includes, for example, measuring devices with detection means or even only a part of measuring devices, such as reflectors and the like.
Between the support element and the adapter attachment vor¬ preferably a connecting element is arranged, which is formed rod-shaped. The adapter attachment is preferred as a suction plate educated. The negative pressure can be generated by mechanical pressing of the adapter attachment or the support element on the surface by air is pressed out of the opposite relative to the surface kon¬ kav curved suction plate. In the case of large dimensions of adapters and / or in the case of a large number of adapter attachments connected to the carrier element, the negative pressure can also be produced by means of pumps or pump devices. The surface need only be free of dust and dirt. Advantageously, this attachment system also works on wet surfaces, so that contamination just needs to be washed off without further drying. In addition to this time saving, it is of particular advantage that the adapter according to the invention is independent of the material of the body and can be used universally on metal, plastic, glass, etc. Compared with adhesive tapes and the like, the adapter according to the invention is much more gentle and easy to remove. It is particularly suitable for mounting on la¬ painted body surfaces with the soft automotive paints used today. Nevertheless, this ensures a very good adhesion and thus a secure holding force, which is particularly important if, for example, a sensor is to be fastened, which must remain fixed to the body, so that the measurement results are not falsified and thus become unusable.
In a preferred simple embodiment of the inventive adapter, a support element can be fastened directly to the adapter attachment, for example by form, force and / or material connection, with combinations of the individual types of connection being possible as well. For example, the adapter attachment can have a receptacle into which the support element can be plugged after the adapter attachment has been attached to the surface.
The adapter attachment is preferably formed of a flexible elastomer or a thermoplastic. The support element may be formed of a dimensionally stable, rigid plate or alternatively of a flexible material. In the case of a flexible support element, in particular in conjunction with a plurality of adapter attachments arranged thereon, the adapter can advantageously also be fixed to arched motor vehicle surfaces. It can also be provided that the support element is provided with a coating, preferably a coating of elastomer, in order to protect the paint of the body from damage such as scratches and the like. It is also a foam coating possible. The support element expediently has suitable receptacles and / or fastening means for fastening the sensor or sensors.
With the adapter according to the invention can advantageously be carried out a quick and easy installation of the sensors. For example, a sensor in the form of a flexible sticker with a light-reflecting coating can be stuck onto the support element.
To compensate for tolerances, for example in a curved motor vehicle surface, the connecting element can be designed to be elastic in its longitudinal extent. It can also be provided that at least two adapter attachments, in particular a plurality of adapter attachments, are connected to the support element for fastening the sensors. This is convenient for mounting on a domed automotive surface or also for bulky or heavy sensors. If a large number of adapter fixtures are provided, tolerance compensation on uneven surfaces can be facilitated. The individual adapter attachments can also be connected to one another by a common pumping line with which the required negative pressure can be produced.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the connecting element is rigid in its longitudinal extent, preferably in the form of a bolt which is provided with a bore. The support element can be gela¬ siege in the bore of the bolt, that it can be rotated about the bore axis of the bolt. It is also conceivable to mount the supporting element by means of a turning and tilting joint that can be rotated and / or tilted by several degrees of freedom. In this case, the support element can be used in conjunction with the rigidly formed connecting element as a lever, through which the adapter attachment is mechanically prestressed. The lever can also be used simultaneously as a support device for the sensors. It is advantageous that the support element with several mechanically preloaded Adapterbe¬ festigungen can be attached to the body. This embodiment of the adapter according to the invention has particularly advantageous adhesion values.
To release the adapter, a solvent may be provided, for example in the form of a nose, which can be lifted slightly to release the negative pressure. Depending on the configuration of the embodiment, the negative pressure can also be canceled by applying air pressure via a ventilation valve. Alternatively, the adapter by pivoting or turning the as Lever designed support member dissolved in the opposite direction and / or by pressing a solvent, for example in the form of a nose, be ventilated. The disassembly of the adapter can be done quickly and easily. Advantageously, after removal of the adapter, no residues, for example adhesive residues, remain on the surface. It rather remains completely intact.
The adapter according to the invention can in each case be used multiple times without signs of wear occurring or a decreasing holding force is recorded. Thus, a total of a large number of mounting cycles can be accomplished.

Der Durchmesser der Adapter- befestigung 11 ist ungefähr gleich der Fläche des Tragelements 10.FIG. 1 shows a preferred simple embodiment of an adapter according to the invention with a support element 10 and an adapter mount 11 connected to the support element 10, which can be fixed by means of negative pressure on a surface (not shown). The support element 10 is plate-shaped and has a recht¬ angular basic shape with rounded edges. It is formed from a dimensionally stable material and can be provided with a coating. The adapter attachment 11 has a round basic shape. It is designed as a suction plate and consists of a flexib¬ len elastomer or a thermoplastic. On the peripheral side, a solvent 13 in the form of a nose is arranged on the adapter attachment 11. Between the support element 10 and the adapter attachment 11, a rod-shaped connection element 12 extends with a length 15. The connection element 12 is arranged between the center of the support element 10 and the center of the adapter attachment 11. The support member 10 and the adapter attachment 11 are arranged parallel to each other. The diameter of the adapter attachment 11 is approximately equal to the surface of the support element 10.
For attachment to a motor vehicle surface, the adapter attachment 11 is pressed against the surface, whereby the air escapes between the adapter attachment 11 and the surface. Due to the resulting negative pressure, the adapter is stable and virtually immovable connected to the surface. The negative pressure can be released by pulling on the solvent 13.
The same or essentially the same Bende elements are each provided with the same reference numerals in the figures. The support element 10 is again designed as a plate and has a rectangular basic shape with abgerun¬ Deten edges. A total of nine smaller adapter attachments 11, 21, 22 are connected to the support element 10, of which only a few are provided with reference numerals for reasons of clarity. The individual adapter attachments 11, 21, 22 are each arranged at an equal distance from each other. Between the support member 10 and the center of the adapter mounts 11, 21, 22 each have a same length rod-shaped connecting element 12 is arranged. The flat sides of the adapter mounts 11, 21, 22 and the flat sides of the support element 10 are parallel and are equally spaced from each other. The distance corresponds to the length of the connecting elements 12. The support element 10 can be flexible, which is advantageous in particular for more curved surfaces. The adapters are in turn secured to a surface, not shown, by pressing the adapter attachments 11, 21, 22. In order to achieve optimum adhesion, it should be noted that all adapter attachments 11, 21, 22 vent.
Zur Verdeutlichung des inneren Aufbaus ist die Adapterbefestigung 11 partiell im Halbschnitt dargestellt.FIG. 3 shows a preferred embodiment of the adapter according to the invention with a support element 10 and an adapter fastening 11, which is configured as a round suction plate and has a solvent 13 laterally. To illustrate the internal structure of the adapter attachment 11 is partially shown in half section.
Die Adapterbefestigung 11 besteht aus einem flexiblen Bereich 25, der die Oberfläche (nicht dargestellt) kontaktiert, und einem starrenThe adapter mount 11 consists of a flexible portion 25 which contacts the surface (not shown) and a rigid one
Bolt 16 with a transverse bore. On the bolt 16 sits a spacer sleeve 17 which is formed as a truncated cone. The support element 10 has on one side a pin-shaped An¬ set 26 which has a bore 18 corresponding to the bore 18, wherein a dowel pin 27 is passed through both holes 18. The bore 18 is arranged eccentrically. The support element 10 is supported by the dowel pin 27 in the bore of the bolt 16 such that the support element 10 can be rotated about the bore axis of the bolt 16. The direction of rotation is indicated by an arrow 23. The adapter attachment 11 is flat.
When attaching the adapter to the surface of this is pressed with the adapter attachment 11 to the surface. The flat side of the support element 10 is perpendicular to the surface, as shown in Figure 3. When pivoting the support member 10 in the direction of arrow 23 of the flexible portion 25 of the adapter attachment 11 is drawn because of the eccentric bore in the Tragele¬ element 10 in the spacer sleeve 17, wherein a negative pressure under the adapter attachment 11 is formed. To release the support member 10 is simply swung back to its original position and then the adapter attachment 11 by means of the solvent 13 again ventilated. In this embodiment, the support member 10 acts as a lever and realizes the eccentric for generating the negative pressure and also receives the sensors.
Alternativ kann sie mit einem Durchbruch versehen sein, und auf dem Bolzen 16 der Adapterbefestigung 11 zwischen der Abstandshülse 17 und - lo ¬Alternatively, the support element 10 may also be provided only for the fulfillment of the task of the lever and the realization of the eccentric. The sensors are then arranged on a further, separate support element, not shown. The separate support member may be connected directly to the spacer sleeve 17. Alternatively, it may be provided with a breakthrough, and on the bolt 16 of the adapter attachment 11 between the spacer sleeve 17 and - lo ¬

Mit einer solchen Aus¬ gestaltung kann das separate Tragelement mit einem oder mehreren mechanisch vorgespannten Adapterbefestigungen 11, 21, 22 an der Oberfläche befestigt werden. be arranged as a lever acting support member 10. When pivoting the support member 10, the separate support member is fixed by the eccentric in the support member 10. With such Aus¬ design, the separate support member with one or more mechanically biased adapter mounts 11, 21, 22 are attached to the surface.
