Abstract

The invention relates to an isothermal container (1) for transporting thermosensitive products, comprising an outer casing (2) and refrigeration means. The outer casing (2) is formed by a cardboard container. The refrigeration means comprise: a layer of foam polymer material (3) which is covered with a metal sheet and which is disposed adjacent to the side walls, the base and the upper part of the container; and a refrigeration element (4) with a bag made from film containing an eutectic gel and a sheet of rigid foam (6), which can maintain constant cold conditions of between 0 °C and 10 °C for at least 96 hours. The refrigeration element with the plastic film (7) containing the eutectic gel is separated from a rectangular rigid polyethylene sheet (8) by a separating sheet of film (9) such as to define two isolated cavities (10, 11).
