Abstract

A container for packaging frozen or chilled food products, comprising a first cuplike containing body (2) made from thermoformed plastics material, having a lateral wall (4) and a mouth (8), and a second cuplike containing body (10), made from a thermoformed or injection moulded thermoplastic or paper material, with a corresponding lateral wall (12) and mouth (16), in which the said second containing body (10) is fitted into the first containing body (2) and designed so as to form an annular gap (18) between its lateral wall (12) and the lateral wall (4) of the first containing body (2), and in which the lateral wall of the second containing body (12) has a radial flange (20) serving to seal the said gap (18).
