L'invention a pour objet un alliage d'aluminium pour piece devant posseder une grande resistance mecanique a chaud dans Ie domaine de temperature 230-430°C, de composition (% massique) : Mg < 0,5 Si : 8,0 - 13 Cu : 4,0 - 9,0 Ni: 1,0 - 4,0 Fe < 1,0 Mn < 1,0 Zn < 1,0 V < 0,3 Ti < 0,3 Zr < 0,05 P : 0,001 - 0,05 autres elements < 0,15 chacun et < 0,30 au total, balance aluminium. L'invention concerne plus particulierement les alliages pour pistons de moteurs a combustion interne.
