Abstract

Cette installation comprend une chambre de combustion (15) comportant des moyens (53) d'introduction de la charge minérale raccordés à un préchauffeur (27) , des moyens (55) de combustion pour maintenir dans la chambre (15) une température comprise entre 7000C et 9000C, des moyens (57) d'introduction d'un gaz de traitement à teneur contrôlée en dioxyde de carbone pour s'opposer à la dissociation du carbonate dans la chambre (15) et des moyens (61) de prélèvement de la charge minérale calcinée débouchant dans un refroidisseur (31) . La chambre (15) comprend des moyens (51) de formation d'un lit fluidisé. Les moyens (57) d'introduction des gaz de traitement sont alimentés au moins partiellement par une conduite de dérivation (91) d'une partie des fumées de combustion de la chambre (15) provenant de moyens d'évacuation (21) de ces fumées dans l'atmosphère. Application à la production d'un liant hydraulique de type ciment. Un but de l'invention est donc de fournir une installation de calcination du type précité qui présente des émissions polluantes réduites.
