Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à des dispositifs de chauffage destinés à chauffer divers milieux par rayonnement, par convection ou par conduction thermique. Le radiateur électrique tubulaire selon l'invention permet de garantir une répartition régulière du flux thermique sur toute la longueur de l'élément chauffant. En outre, les connexions placées et serties sur les extrémités du radiateur électrique restent froides, quelle que soit la puissance et la durée de fonctionnement du dispositif chauffant. L'élément chauffant et les connexions froides ne sont pas reliés par soudure, ce qui permet de conférer au dispositif selon l'invention une fiabilité, une durée de vie et une sécurité élevées. Le radiateur électrique tubulaire doté de connexions froides selon l'invention comprend : un élément chauffant se présentant sous la forme d'un fil métallique formé d'alliages de précision présentant une résistance électrique spécifique élevée ; des conduits placés et sertis sur les extrémités de l'élément chauffant et constitués de matériaux présentant une faible résistance électrique spécifique, qui font fonction de connexions froides ; une charge isolante qui protège l'élément chauffant et les connexions froides ; une enveloppe métallique disposée par-dessus la charge isolante ; une couche d'un matériau d'étanchéité, qui protège les extrémités du dispositif chauffant ; un isolant ; et une armature d'extrémité.
