- the basic spreader may be designed in many different ways, for example, the vibration motor may be electrically driven. That results in that the spreader does not need to be connected and thus adapted to the hydraulic system of the vehicle.
- the spreader may be carried by the vehicle at the front or at the back or be pulled after or pushed in front of the vehicle.

- the bottom plate and/or the whole spreader is tiltable so that the inclination of the bottom plate to the horizontal plane can be set. This brings the advantage that the particles do not flow out by them selves so that the outlet slit must be sealed when the vibration motor is turned off and the spreader is not in use.
- the spreader is preferably provided with at least one shutter for opening or closing of a portion of the outlet slit.
- Spreaders are commonly bulky why the present spreader preferably is conically shaped so that they can be stacked in each other, which gives great storage and transporting advantages.

- the spreader has a bottom plate 3, which in the shown case leaves an outlet slit 4 to the container 1 at the lower edge. Instead, the bottom plate 3 may comprise the outlet slit.
- the outlet slit 4 is preferably arranged at the rear edge of the spreader, seen in use, and with regard to the travel direction of a vehicle (not shown) connected to the spreader.
- the bottom plate 3 is vibrated by means of a vibration motor 5.
- This motor 5 may be hydraulically driven but preferably it is electrically driven.
- the motor 5 is preferably attached at the bottom plate 3, for example at its bottom side.
- the bottom plate 3 is provided in the spreader so that an uphill slope will be formed for the particles 2 when they shall be vibrated so that they move towards the outlet slit 4. That means that the bottom plate 3 is inclined upwards towards the outlet slit 4.
- the bottom plate 3 is suspended by means of at least one rubber element or other elastic elements 7 in the container 1, see fig. 3.
- the inclination gradient is preferably adjustable either by means of adjusting the attachment of the bottom plate 3 at the container 1 or by means of tilting the whole spreader in relation to the horizontal plane.
- the latter may, for example, be done by means of an adjustable attachment of a connecting device 6 for the vehicle.
- a connecting device 6 (in this case two hooks whereof only one is seen in this view) is mounted at the spreader.
- the spreader is adapted for detachable attachment of different types of connecting devices for vehicles.
- hooks are attached by means of screws so that the spreader may be carried by a vehicle. If desired, the spreader may instead be pulled behind or pushed in front of a vehicle. In such case wheels or runners must be mounted on the spreader.
- the spreader in the shown case in fig. 1 is intended to be carried in front of the vehicle so that the outlet slit 4 is positioned in the rear edge of the spreader. It is although conceivable that the spreader is carried behind the vehicle, the outlet slit 4 then being positioned in the front edge of the spreader, but it is preferred that the outlet slit 4 is in the rear. Instead, by mounting the hooks 6 on the opposite side of the spreader when carrying the spreader behind the vehicle the feature having the outlet slit 4 in the rear edge is fulfilled.
- the spreader is shown from the bottom.
- the vibration motor 5 is arranged under the bottom plate 3 and in the shown case protected behind a drawn out edge of the container 1.
- at least one shutter 9 may be provided along the outlet slit 4.
- three shutters 9 are provided. These shutters are displacable over the outlet slit 4 in order to stop the dispensing of particles there.
- the preferred connecting devices 6 shown in fig. 5 comprises frames 10, which may be mounted, for example by means of screws, in two girders 11 provided in the container 1.
- suitable size of the outlet slit 4 is the range 15-25 mm.
- the size of the outlet slit 4 may be adjusted by means of the shutters 9.
- the spreader is conically designed in order to make it possible to stack several spreaders in each other.
