Abstract

En bref, selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention, l'intensité des signaux en provenance d'une spectroscopie de l'effet Raman exalté de surface peut être accrue en utilisant du chlorure de lithium comme activateur pour l'activation d'une structure métallique utilisée pour la spectroscopie de l'effet Raman exalté de surface. L'intensité accrue des signaux peut permettre l'utilisation de la spectroscopie de l'effet Raman exalté de surface pour la détection d'analytes individuels tels que des nucléotides, par exemple en séquençage de l'ADN sans avoir recours à un colorant ou une étiquette radioactive.
