Abstract

Organische Substrate, wie cyclische Ether, N-substituierte Amide, Ketone, Alkylaromaten und Alkylheteroaromaten, lassen sich in Gegenwart eines Alkohols anodisch alkoxylieren, insbesondere methoxylieren. Bekannt ist die Alkoxylierung in Gegenwart eines Mediators oder in einer geteilten Zelle mit einem Feststoffelektrolyt. Die erfindungsgemäße anodische Alkoxylierung erfolgt in Abwesenheit eines Mediators in einer ungeteilten Elektroysezelle unter Verwendung einer Diamantschichtanode oder Goldanode. Erzielt werden hohe Stoff- und Stromausbeuten.
