Definitions
- the present invention relates to the technical field of biodegradable materials and products and particularly the invention refers to a biodegradable material and products dispersable in the environment carried out using said material and a method for manufacturing said products.
- the shooting clay pigeons cover large ground areas with their fragments so inhibiting the vegetable growth, making the ground scarcely recoverable.
- An object of the present invention is to propose a material for manufacturing products, used for short time and fit to be dispersed or disposed, capable to dissolve under the action of atmospheric agents, compatible with the ground and/or suitable to enter into the environmental ecological chain.
- Another object is to propose products manufactured by using said material and particularly fit to reduce the impact with the environment or to improve some features thereof. Further object is to propose a method for manufacturing said products by using said material.
- Another object is to propose products, and a method for their manufacturing, which have an easy, economic and quick realization.
- figure 1 shows a schematic and axonometric view of a product of the present invention
- figure 2 shows a section view of the product of figure 1
- - figure 3 shows a schematic axonometric section view of a further product of the present invention.
- numeral 1 indicates a pot product of the present invention fit for the airdrop, that is aerial throwing with or without parachute or air brake, and the plant or seed laying in inaccessible or hardly unreachable soils.
- Said pot product 1 is carried out with the biodegradable material of the present invention, including at least a biodegradable incoherent substance, for instance including dry peat, soil, sawdust, hay, in the shape of granules, powders, fibers, pellets or their mixtures including inorganic fertilizer and comprising a resinous substance consisting of a bi-component resin degradable by means of solar light and fit to harden for providing the material with coherence and strength.
- a biodegradable incoherent substance for instance including dry peat, soil, sawdust, hay, in the shape of granules, powders, fibers, pellets or their mixtures including inorganic fertilizer
- a resinous substance consisting of a bi-component resin degradable by means of solar light and fit to harden for providing the material with coherence and strength.
- the bi-component resin is obtained by a stoichiometric combination of an organic acid with a polyalcohol or by other combination suitable to provide a resin degradable in the environment, originating nontoxic products.
- the resinous substance, prior hardening, is mixed with the incoherent biodegradable substance in a percentage lower or equal to about 5% in material weight.
- the biodegradable incoherent substance which can also contain aggregate, vegetable fibers and amendments, are water-soluble or can disintegrate under the action of water.
- the pot 1 has a conical shape and is provided with a cavity 2 fit for containing soil and vegetable material 3, consisting of bedders, seeds, bulbs, rhizomes or similar to be planted in a ground to be reforested or to be enriched with vegetable species by means of the airdrop of pots 1.
- the pot 1 includes, at its base, a plurality of tail planes 4 straight or inclined for obtaining the axial rotation of pot 1 during the fall.
- the pot 1 has, at least near its vertex, screw means 5, consisting of a spiral groove and/or protrusion, wound according to the inclination of tail planes 4 and fit to assist the pot penetration into the ground.
- the pot 1 sticks into the ground, soft or softened by the rain, and gradually it disintegrates because the rain and the remaining environmental elements, so releasing fertilizer and/or elements which assist the growth of the plat, whose roots can freely penetrate into the ground.
- the invention also provides that the product made of biodegradable material consists of a shooting clay pigeons, a floor slab, a covering or decorative slab, a pot for plants or a vase, a container or a packaging product, a bench or a table or another indoor or outdoor furniture element or the covering tile 10 of figure 3.
- Said tile is decorated by a silk-screen print 11 or a digital print and has the in sight face provided with of an external layer 12 painted with UV type paint.
- the method of the invention for manufacturing a product provides: - to pour the biodegradable material including the incoherent biodegradable substance and the resinous substance, before the consolidation of the latter, in a mould having the product shape; to subject the biodegradable material in the mould to predefined pressures and temperatures for a predefined time; - to extract the product from the mould after the consolidation of resinous substance.
- the method eventually provides to decorate the external product surface by hand or by silk- screen printing, fiexography, digital printing or the like and to paint the product with an UV paint capable to confer strength and superficial hardness to the product.
- the method also provides to control the dissolution or disintegration time of material by changing the proportion of resinous substance in the biodegradable material, in a way approximately proportional to the desired duration.
- the insertion of fibers in the material allows increasing the mechanical resistance to carry out for instance containers, boxes and packaging material particularly strong.
- the main advantage of the present invention is to provide a material for manufacturing products, used for short time and fit to be dispersed or disposed, capable to dissolve under the action of atmospheric agents, compatible with the soil and/or suitable to enter into the environmental ecological chain.
- Another advantage of the present invention is to provide products, which are manufactured by using said material and particularly fit for reducing the environmental impact or for improving some environment characteristic.
