Definitions

  • Osteoporosis is a systemic skeletal disease in which the bone becomes increasingly porous and brittle owing to a decrease in bone mass and deterioration of bone tissue. With a consequent increase in bone fragility, osteoporosis may cause fractures of hip, spine, wrist, or the like. It is known that Asians and in particular, women are at higher risk to osteoporosis.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif conçu pour opérer une colonne vertébrale, que l'on peut introduire dans une région voulue de cette colonne de façon à assurer un espace à remplir de ciment artificiel. Un élément corps est défini à une extrémité avec une ouverture et présente, à l'autre extrémité, une collerette d'appui. Un élément fonctionnel présente une barre mobile introduite dans l'élément corps, une partie élastique dont une section peut saillir de l'ouverture, et une partie de compression destinée à comprimer et à décomprimer la barre mobile de façon que la partie élastique puisse se déplacer entre une position d'ouverture où une section de la partie élastique saille de l'ouverture pour assurer l'espace à remplir de ciment artificiel et une position d'inaction où la section de la partie élastique ne saille pas de ladite ouverture.
