Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur mikrobiellen Herstellung von Stoffwechselprodukten. Durch das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren ist es nunmehr möglich, die Synthese von ATP gezielt zu beeinflussen und damit auch die Synthese von Stoffwechselprodukten zu steuern. Die Erfindung betrifft ein für Cytochrom aa3 Oxidase kodierendes Gen ctaF aus Corynebacterium glutamicum. Das ctaF Gen kodiert für ein Protein, welches die Funktion einer vierten Untereinheit der Cytochrom aa3 Oxidase aufweist.
