Abstract

La présente invention concerne un véhicule à chenilles à entraînement électrique comprenant une carrosserie (2) et des chenilles (4) qui se déplacent sur des mécanismes de roulement associés et peuvent être entraînées respectivement par au moins une couronne d'entraînement (6), un dispositif d'entraînement comprenant au moins un moteur électrique (10, 12) et un engrenage de liaison (8) étant associé à chaque couronne d'entraînement (6). Selon l'invention, le moteur électrique se trouve au moins partiellement dans l'espace axial formé au-dessus de la chenille (4) et délimité par celle-ci, l'engrenage de liaison (8) est mis en place sur le côté de la couronne d'entraînement (6) et du moteur d'entraînement (8), qui fait face à la partie médiane du véhicule, et le boîtier de l'engrenage de liaison (8) est relié fixement à la carrosserie (2) du véhicule.
