Abstract

L'invention concerne des acides nucléiques et des polypeptides codant des nouveaux isoformes de variant d'épissage de 3-hydroxy-3-méthylglutaryle-CoA réductase (HMGCR). Les séquences polynucléotidiques des isoformes HMGCRsv1, HMGCRsv2, HMGCRsv3, et HMGCRsv4 sont respectivement représentées par SEQ ID NO 1, SEQ ID NO 3, SEQ ID NO 5, et SEQ ID NO 7. Les séquences d'acides aminés pour les isoformes HMGCRsv1, HMGCRsv2, HMGCRsv3, et HMGCRsv4 sont respectivement représentées par SEQ ID NO 2, SEQ ID NO 4, SEQ ID NO 6, et SEQ ID NO 8. L'invention concerne également des procédés d'utilisation des polynucléotides et des protéines des isoformes HMGCRsv1, HMGCRsv2, HMGCRsv3, et HMGCRsv4 afin de cribler des composés qui se lient respectivement aux isoformes HMGCRsv1, HMGCRsv2, HMGCRsv3, et HMGCRsv4.
