Definitions
- the invention relates to a table with a rotatable table top with at least three rollers on which the table top can be rotatably supported, and a first and second centering means for centering the rotary movement of the table top about an axis of rotation.
- Typical rotatable plates are known from the household, in which a plate is mounted on a central axis by means of ball bearings or by friction.
- the axis is usually attached to a base or a base plate.
- Such rotary plates are often mounted on 3 or more balls, the rotation also taking place here about a central axis and the balls being held in a guide in circular paths around the axis (DE 93 13 093.7 U1).
- a rotatable table top with a warming device for food is known from DE 38 05 420 A1. With this arrangement, the weight of the plate is transferred to the support surface by means of rollers.
- a disadvantage of the known turntables or turntables is the partly. very complex construction and secondly the central storage. If it is only stored in the middle of the plate, the plate can be damaged or tip over at the edge of the plate when subjected to high loads. In addition, the bearings can wear out more quickly under one-sided loading and thus have excessive bearing play. In order to prevent this, the plates for household purposes are often only designed with a very small radius, which is why they are often unsuitable for certain purposes.
- Other variants of turntables or plates provide rollers or balls distributed around the circumference of the plate, by means of which the load capacity of the plate is to be increased. In the case of the usual designs, there is often no need for a load-bearing axis of rotation in the center of the rotary plate, even if additional rollers or balls are arranged on the circumference of the plate for storage.
- the disadvantage here is that the axis always takes up part of the weight of the rotary plate and the supports on the rotary plate, which places high demands on the dimensions of the components in order to load all components of the bearing, such as rollers, balls and axis, evenly.
- Another disadvantage of the rotary plates or rotary tables known here is that the construction is sometimes very heavy, very expensive, and the rotary movement is not quiet. When moving the turntables, considerable effort is often required because the construction as a whole has to be transported with the table top and rotating device.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of creating a turntable (table top with rotating device) which is more robust but nevertheless of a simpler construction and easier to transport than previously known turntables.
- the object is achieved according to the invention in the case of a table of the type mentioned at the outset in that the rollers are connected to the first centering means by means of wheel axles extending radially to the axis of rotation, so that when the table top rotates, the rollers run on concentric circular paths with the second centering means the table top is rotatably or rigidly connected and the first and the second centering means are coupled to one another in such a way that a lateral guide is formed which centers the rotary movement of the rollers and the table top about the axis of rotation.
- a particular advantage of the embodiment according to the invention is that the device can be easily transported, since the rollers and the table top are not firmly connected.
- the structure is also significantly more robust compared to conventional rotary tables.
- the table top is only stored on the rollers. In theory, any number of these can be arranged under the plate on any radii, which allows an almost unlimited load, also or especially at the edges of the plate. Because the arrangement can be dismantled, cleaning of the arrangement is also facilitated.
- the components, such as the table top can simply be removed and cleaned on their own.
- the arrangement according to the invention can be further built on any flat surface.
- the structure of the arrangement is extremely simple. It only consists of rollers, wheel axles, the two centering elements and the table top.
- the first centering means has a recess
- a second centering means is rotatably connected to the table top on the axis of rotation.
- the lateral guide for centering the rotary movements is created by the fact that the second centering means is inserted into the recess of the first centering device in a coherent or precise manner.
- the second centering means is a roller, particularly preferred in the type of rollers on which the table top is rotatably mounted.
- An advantage of these embodiments is the particularly simple structure, which does not make any particular demands on the construction.
- the table top does not rest on the first centering means.
- the first centering means is not loaded.
- the weight of the plate is borne only by the rollers, which are arranged radially spaced from the axis of rotation.
- the table top for attaching the second centering means is not pierced. This makes it very difficult to work with materials that are used as a table top, or materials that must not be destroyed.
- the table with a rotatable table top is mounted on a base plate. This can protect the surface. It is particularly preferred that a second centering means is attached to the base plate in the same way as the second centering means for the table top. As a result, the table is adjusted in one position when it rotates on the base plate.
- the first centering means preferably does not rest on the base plate.
- the weight of the plate is transferred to the base plate only by means of the rollers. This protects the first centering agent.
- the rollers with centering means and the base plate can be carried individually.

- the second centering means 7 is indicated with an outline, which would also not be visible in this section.

- the second centering means 7 is also a roller here, which is connected centrally to the table top by means of a central axis.
- the construction is particularly simple if an identical roller as the rollers (3) is used for the second centering means. This is dealt with again in FIGS. 2 and 3.
- the turntable can either be made of wood, metal or very difficult to work with and is very heavy his. It is not pierced in this embodiment of the invention.
- the base plate 2 is also designed as a chipboard or blockboard.
- the base plate 2 is not required.
- the table top 1 with the rollers 3 can just as well be placed directly on a flat surface.
- the rollers 3 are stored on it in the normal state of use (device assembled) and the table top 1 on the rollers 3.
- the first or second centering means 6, 7 are not subjected to any load due to the weight of the table top 1.
- the table top lies exclusively on the rollers on.
- FIG. 2 A further sectional view from the side can be seen in FIG. 2 for further clarification of this exemplary embodiment of the object according to the invention.
- the table top 1, the base plate 2, the rollers 3, the wheel axles 4, the axle nuts 5, the first centering means 6 and two second centering means 7, as well as carriage bolts 18 and a wooden washers 9 and nuts 19 can be seen here here the individual components of the invention shown slightly apart up and down. It can be seen that the rollers 3 are attached somewhat centrally by means of the wheel axles 4 to the first centering means 6 designed as a tube piece, and that the second centering means 7 are fastened centrally to the table top 1 and the base plate 2 by means of the carriage bolts 18 and nuts 19 become. This was already apparent from Figure 1.
- the second centering means 7 engage the first centering means 6 from above and below.
- the first centering means 6 is again designed as a piece of pipe and has a sufficient inner diameter to accommodate the second centering means 7.
- the base plate 2 with the second centering means 7 is only optional. Adequate centering and thus lateral stability during rotation is already achieved if only the table top with the second centering means is placed on the rollers 3 and the first centering means 6.
- the second centering means 7 rest on the inner walls of the first centering means 6. Therefore, the second centering means 6 are also rotatably supported by means of the lock screws 18 and the washers 9.

- a lateral swinging out of the table top 1 or the rollers 3 away from the common axis of rotation is achieved by the interaction of the first and second centering means 6.7 prevented. They form a lateral guide for the rotation and therefore have a centering effect.
- the centering elements 6, 7 are not burdened by the weight of the table top 1.
- the first centering means 6 is in particular designed in such a way that the second centering means 7 protrude into the first centering means 6, but the first centering means 6 does not touch either the table top 1 or the base plate 2.
- first centering means 6 as here here here a piece of pipe, it is preferably kept shorter than the diameter of the rollers 3, so that, in interaction with the second centering means 7, it serves exclusively as a lateral guide for the rotation.
- first centering means 6 forms a type of hub for the rollers 3, to which the wheel axles 4 are fastened in a spoke-like manner.
- FIG. 3 shows a further side view of a section through the table top 1 or the base plate 2.
- An embodiment is shown in which the second centering means 7 are not fastened with lock screws 18, which is disadvantageous because the table top 1 or base plate 2 is pierced for this purpose must be, but an embodiment in which the second centering means 7 are fastened by means of a threaded rod 10 and nuts 5 mounted perpendicular to a metal plate 12. Instead of the lock screw 18, the threaded rod 10 is now used here.
- the metal plate is connected to the base plate 2 or the table top by screws 13 or adhesive 14.

Abstract
Description
Tisch mit drehbarer Tischplatte Table with rotating table top
The invention relates to a table with a rotatable table top with at least three rollers on which the table top can be rotatably supported, and a first and second centering means for centering the rotary movement of the table top about an axis of rotation.
Typical rotatable plates are known from the household, in which a plate is mounted on a central axis by means of ball bearings or by friction. The axis is usually attached to a base or a base plate. Such rotary plates are often mounted on 3 or more balls, the rotation also taking place here about a central axis and the balls being held in a guide in circular paths around the axis (DE 93 13 093.7 U1). A rotatable table top with a warming device for food is known from DE 38 05 420 A1. With this arrangement, the weight of the plate is transferred to the support surface by means of rollers.
From DE 36 00 583 A1 and DE 33 19 170 A1 rotary plates for microwave ovens are known, which are also mounted on rollers.
A disadvantage of the known turntables or turntables is the partly. very complex construction and secondly the central storage. Other variants of turntables or plates provide rollers or balls distributed around the circumference of the plate, by means of which the load capacity of the plate is to be increased. In the case of the usual designs, there is often no need for a load-bearing axis of rotation in the center of the rotary plate, even if additional rollers or balls are arranged on the circumference of the plate for storage.
The disadvantage here is that the axis always takes up part of the weight of the rotary plate and the supports on the rotary plate, which places high demands on the dimensions of the components in order to load all components of the bearing, such as rollers, balls and axis, evenly. Another disadvantage of the rotary plates or rotary tables known here is that the construction is sometimes very heavy, very expensive, and the rotary movement is not quiet. When moving the turntables, considerable effort is often required because the construction as a whole has to be transported with the table top and rotating device. The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a turntable (table top with rotating device) which is more robust but nevertheless of a simpler construction and easier to transport than previously known turntables.
The object is achieved according to the invention in the case of a table of the type mentioned at the outset in that the rollers are connected to the first centering means by means of wheel axles extending radially to the axis of rotation, so that when the table top rotates, the rollers run on concentric circular paths with the second centering means the table top is rotatably or rigidly connected and the first and the second centering means are coupled to one another in such a way that a lateral guide is formed which centers the rotary movement of the rollers and the table top about the axis of rotation.
A particular advantage of the embodiment according to the invention is that the device can be easily transported, since the rollers and the table top are not firmly connected. The structure is also significantly more robust compared to conventional rotary tables. The table top is only stored on the rollers. In theory, any number of these can be arranged under the plate on any radii, which allows an almost unlimited load, also or especially at the edges of the plate. Because the arrangement can be dismantled, cleaning of the arrangement is also facilitated. The components, such as the table top, can simply be removed and cleaned on their own. The arrangement according to the invention can be further built on any flat surface. The structure of the arrangement is extremely simple. It only consists of rollers, wheel axles, the two centering elements and the table top.
In a preferred embodiment, the first centering means has a recess, and a second centering means is rotatably connected to the table top on the axis of rotation. The lateral guide for centering the rotary movements is created by the fact that the second centering means is inserted into the recess of the first centering device in a coherent or precise manner.
In another preferred embodiment, the second centering means is a roller, particularly preferred in the type of rollers on which the table top is rotatably mounted.
An advantage of these embodiments is the particularly simple structure, which does not make any particular demands on the construction.
In a very preferred embodiment, the table top does not rest on the first centering means. As a result, the first centering means is not loaded. The weight of the plate is borne only by the rollers, which are arranged radially spaced from the axis of rotation.
In a further preferred embodiment, the table top for attaching the second centering means is not pierced. This makes it very difficult to work with materials that are used as a table top, or materials that must not be destroyed.
In a further preferred embodiment, the table with a rotatable table top is mounted on a base plate. This can protect the surface. It is particularly preferred that a second centering means is attached to the base plate in the same way as the second centering means for the table top. As a result, the table is adjusted in one position when it rotates on the base plate.
Es zeigenThe first centering means preferably does not rest on the base plate. The weight of the plate is transferred to the base plate only by means of the rollers. This protects the first centering agent. When transporting the table, the table top, the rollers with centering means and the base plate can be carried individually. An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the figures. Show it
Figur 1 eine Schnittansicht eines erfindungsgemäßen Drehtisches von oben,FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of a turntable according to the invention from above,
Figur 2 eine Schnittansicht eines erfindungsgemäßen Drehtisches von der Seite undFigure 2 is a sectional view of a turntable according to the invention from the side and
Figure 3 is a sectional view of the base plate of the turntable according to the invention from the side.
Die Tischplatte liegt ausschließlich auf den Rollen auf.FIG. 1 shows a sectional view from above of an object according to the invention. The cut runs at half the height of the rollers 3. In addition, the outline of the circular table top 1 (which would actually not be visible in a cut) and the circular outline of the base plate 2 are shown in the figure. Furthermore, the second centering means 7 is indicated with an outline, which would also not be visible in this section. The six rollers 3 are connected in a star shape at regular angular intervals to the first centering means 6 by means of rigid wheel axles 4. The wheel axles are threaded rods on which the rollers are screwed by means of axle nuts 5. The rollers can be, for example, inline skater rollers or other rollers with or without ball bearings and an optional covering. The first centering means 6 is designed here as a simple piece of pipe. The round circumference is only one of many possible embodiments. In the cavity in the interior of the first centering means 6, the outline of the second centering means 7 can be seen, which protrudes into the pipe section. The second centering means 7 is also a roller here, which is connected centrally to the table top by means of a central axis. The construction is particularly simple if an identical roller as the rollers (3) is used for the second centering means. This is dealt with again in FIGS. 2 and 3. The turntable can either be made of wood, metal or very difficult to work with and is very heavy his. It is not pierced in this embodiment of the invention. The base plate 2 is also designed as a chipboard or blockboard. The base plate 2 is not required. The table top 1 with the rollers 3 can just as well be placed directly on a flat surface. The rollers 3 are stored on it in the normal state of use (device assembled) and the table top 1 on the rollers 3. The first or second centering means 6, 7 are not subjected to any load due to the weight of the table top 1. The table top lies exclusively on the rollers on.
A further sectional view from the side can be seen in FIG. 2 for further clarification of this exemplary embodiment of the object according to the invention. The table top 1, the base plate 2, the rollers 3, the wheel axles 4, the axle nuts 5, the first centering means 6 and two second centering means 7, as well as carriage bolts 18 and a wooden washers 9 and nuts 19 can be seen here here the individual components of the invention shown slightly apart up and down. In the pushed-together position, the second centering means 7 engage the first centering means 6 from above and below. The first centering means 6 is again designed as a piece of pipe and has a sufficient inner diameter to accommodate the second centering means 7. The base plate 2 with the second centering means 7 is only optional. Adequate centering and thus lateral stability during rotation is already achieved if only the table top with the second centering means is placed on the rollers 3 and the first centering means 6. In this embodiment, the second centering means 7 rest on the inner walls of the first centering means 6. Therefore, the second centering means 6 are also rotatably supported by means of the lock screws 18 and the washers 9. When the table top 1 rotates, the rollers 3 begin on a circular path concentric with the axis of rotation to run. The mounting of the second centering means 7 now enables independent rotation of the first centering means 6 from the table top 1 and from the base plate 2. A lateral swinging out of the table top 1 or the rollers 3 away from the common axis of rotation is achieved by the interaction of the first and second centering means 6.7 prevented. They form a lateral guide for the rotation and therefore have a centering effect. The centering elements 6, 7 are not burdened by the weight of the table top 1. The first centering means 6 is in particular designed in such a way that the second centering means 7 protrude into the first centering means 6, but the first centering means 6 does not touch either the table top 1 or the base plate 2. If the first centering means 6, as here here a piece of pipe, it is preferably kept shorter than the diameter of the rollers 3, so that, in interaction with the second centering means 7, it serves exclusively as a lateral guide for the rotation. In addition, the first centering means 6 forms a type of hub for the rollers 3, to which the wheel axles 4 are fastened in a spoke-like manner.
FIG. 3 shows a further side view of a section through the table top 1 or the base plate 2. An embodiment is shown in which the second centering means 7 are not fastened with lock screws 18, which is disadvantageous because the table top 1 or base plate 2 is pierced for this purpose must be, but an embodiment in which the second centering means 7 are fastened by means of a threaded rod 10 and nuts 5 mounted perpendicular to a metal plate 12. Instead of the lock screw 18, the threaded rod 10 is now used here. The metal plate is connected to the base plate 2 or the table top by screws 13 or adhesive 14.
