A NET STYLE PAPER BAG FOR FRUITS
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a paper bag for fruits used for protecting the fruits from birds, hail and insects in orchards, and more particularly, to a net style paper bag having a net attached to the outer surface of the paper bag, so as to effectively protect the fruits until the time of reaping without using other means such as a mesh, a fear gun, sparkling film or sound of bell, and sound from the explosion by carbonate compounds and so on, thereby improving the value of the fruits and allowing a farmer to concentrate on cultivation without anxiety about various damages as well as reducing the cost of cultivation. BACKGROUND ART
In orchards for cultivating pears, apples, grapes, peaches and so on, it is necessary to protect fruits from birds such as magpies, doves, owls etc. or insects after the fruits matured to some extent. For this, commercial paper bags made of newspapers, and yellow papers etc. are mainly used. In the case of these paper bags, firstly the fruits are covered with the paper bags, and then the stems of the fruits are tied together with the paper bags by using a wire and so on.
However, such the paper bags according to the prior art as described above is disadvantageous in that, since the paper bags are easily torn or peeled off due to natural environmental reasons such as heavy rain and hail, the paper bags become incapable of effectively protecting the fruits from the birds or insects, heavy rain, or hail, and consequently deteriorating value of the fruits.
Especially, a large flock of magpies rapidly increasing in number recently cause extremely heavy damage to the fruits by pecking fruits, so that the orchards have substantial problems about the magpies.
Therefore, the orchards are required to use other means such as mesh, the fear gun, the sparkling film or the sound of bell for suppressing the birds, and also to spray other agricultural pesticides for suppressing the insects, thereby increasing the burden and the time-consuming labor of farming family. DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is devised to solve the problems involved in the prior art
paper bags for fruits as described above. More particularly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a net style paper bag for fruits having a net and a fixture on the paper bag itself to effectively protect the fruits and to allow a farmer to concentrate on cultivation without anxiety about various damages until the harvest time thereof, even without using other means such as a mesh, a fear gun, sparkling film or sound of bell, and sound from the explosion by carbonate compounds and so on.
To achieve the above object, there is provided a net style paper bag for fruits with the upper part being opened and the lower part being sealed, the net style paper bag includes a surface bag having multiple ventilation holes formed on the lower part, an inside bag attached to the inner partition of the surface bag, having the opened upper part and lower part, a net attached to the surface bag, and a fixture attached to the upper part of the surface bag. BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Several preferred embodiments of the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Figure 1 is a perspective view of the first embodiment of the present invention, and Figure 3 is an exploded view of that figure. As can be seen from the figures, a net style paper bag for fruits of the present embodiment includes a surface bag 1 having multiple ventilation holes 10 with the upper part being opened and the lower part being sealed, a net 2 attached to the surface bag 1 , and a fixture attached to the upper part of the surface bag 1. The net style paper bag further includes an inside bag 3 having the opened upper part and lower part, as shown in Figure 3, in the interior of the surface bag 1, this ensures more effective protection of the fruits. The inside bag is preferably made of a yellow paper sold at a market. It is preferred that the inner surface of the surface bag 1 is black, and the outer surface thereof is white. In the present embodiment, the fixture is a coating pin 4 formed by coating an iron core with synthetic resins. The net 2 is attached to the lower part of the surface bag 1 , and spaced a certain distance from the upper part of the surface bag. The net will be attached to the surface bag 1 with respect to the upper part and the lower part, or the entire part. Preferably, the upper part of the surface bag, which is not attached with the net, has a length of between 2.5 cm and 5 cm, and the coating pin 4 is attached within this upper part. Preferably, the middle part of the coating pin is attached to the surface bag, so that both end parts of the coating pin, which is not attached to the surface bag, are used to surround and bind the fruits.
In addition, the net is formed in a manner that the width thereof is substantially greater than that of the surface bag, so as to protect the fruits until the harvest time thereof, even if the surface bag is torn.
In addition, the net is constructed by weaving the thin synthetic resins into a mesh to protect the inside bag, and to prevent access of the birds and the insects as well as to allow free passage of air and moisture. The appropriate size of one hole of the net for birds is between 2 mm and 4 mm and the appropriate size for the insects is between 0.5 mm and 2 mm, although the size of between 0.5 mm and 4 mm is adequate as a whole.
A function for obstructing access of the birds by using the net use feed acquisition behavior and studying ability of the birds. Namely, the birds such as the magpies causing damage to the fruits usually grip and dig the fruits with their sharp toenails and beaks. But in case of the net style paper bag of the present invention, the net having strong woven structure prevents tear of the paper bag, and disturbs the feed acquisition of birds. Also, since the birds are surprised and seized with fear caused when the toenails and the beaks caught in the net, and that fear is memorized and studied, the birds become dislike to access the net style paper bag reflexively, thereby effectively protecting the fruits from the birds. It is preferable that the number and the size of the ventilation holes 10 drilled on the lower part of the surface bag 1 are able to be adequately adjusted. Said ventilation holes 10 allow the outside air to be smoothly entered the interior of the surface bag as well as the rainwater in the surface bag to be rapidly discharged out of the surface bag. Figure 2 shows the second embodiment of the present invention. As seen from that figure, the net of the present embodiment is attached to the lower part of the surface bag 1 , and spaced a certain distance, preferably 2 cm from the lower part of the surface bag. Such structure, where the net is spaced and do not attached on the lower part of the surface bag, is made after considering a character of the birds that they can't peck the lower part of the fruits well, so it is possible to reduce the material cost of the ■ net. Also, by attaching the net to the surface bag at the certain distance from the lower part of the surface bag, it is possible to produce the fruits at lower cost, and to improve the effect of protection for birds.
Figure 4 and Figure 5 show the third and the fourth embodiments of the present invention respectively. As shown in that figures, comparing with the first and the second embodiments, both edges 5 of the upper corner part of the net style paper bag are tapered into circular forms similar to the contour of fruits to reduce the area of a portion resisting against a wind, thereby preventing the fall of fruits due to typhoon or wind. In addition, the fixture attached to the upper end of the surface bag is formed as a convenient pin 7 (as a one-touch type pin). One embodiment of the pin 7 is illustrated in Figure 6. As can be seen from that figure, the pin according to the present
embodiment is constructed by elastic members for being attached to the front sheet and the rear sheet of the surface bag respectively, and having opposed both ends being coupled with each other. Also, outwardly curved semicircular stem support parts 6 are provided in the middle part of the pin to be elastically opened under the compression toward the center part thereof.
The operating state of the pin 7 constructed as described above is illustrated in Figure 7. As can be seen from that figure, when a force is applied to the pin by gripping the both ends thereof and compressing them toward the center thereof, the center part of the pin is opened. At the same time, the upper part of the surface bag, to which the pin is attached, also is opened together in order to cover the fruits. When the compressive force applied toward the center of the pin is removed after covering the fruits with the net style paper bag, the pin is returned into an original state closed by an elastic restoring force, at this time, the stem support part 6 supports around the stem of the fruit, thereby the net style paper bag being easily fastened. Figure 8 shows another embodiment of the pin according to the present invention. As shown in that figure, there is provided the fixture formed as a pin T having the both ends of the constituent members bent outwardly, wherein the central parts of the constituent members have outwardly curved semicircular stem support parts 6, one of the constituent members has fastening holes 8 drilled in both ends, the other one of the constituent members has fastening rods 9 projected from both ends for being inserted into the fastening holes 8, and the end parts of the fastening rods 9 have beads 9' that are substantially greater than those of the fastening holes.
As can be seen from Figure 9, the beads 9' formed on the fastening rod penetrate beyond the fastening holes 8 even when a slight force is applied. The beads are caught around the fastening holes once after being projected out of the fastening holes, this ensures the closed condition of the pin. Although the both ends of the pin are outwardly bent, when the fastening rods 9 are inserted and locked in the fastening holes 8, the both ends are firmly closed due to said locking, and also the center parts are strongly closed because the elastic restoring force is concentrated in the center parts. Therefore, When the pin is closed after putting the fruit into the opened upper part of the surface bag, the upper part of the surface bag is firmly closed, and the stem support part 6 supports around at the stem of the fruit, thereby the net style paper bag for fruits
according to the present invention- being simply fixed as shown in Figure 10.
While the invention has been shown and described with reference to certain preferred embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims. INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the damage of fruits due to the birds such as magpies and doves by making their toenails and beaks to be caught in the net when they peck the fruits, and also to effectively protect the fruits until the time of reaping without using other means such as the mesh, the fear gun, the sparkling film or the sound of bell, and the sound from the explosion by carbonate compounds and so on, thereby improving the goods value of the fruits.
In addition, the net of the present invention has various effects that it is able to prevent tear of the paper bag due to the heavy rains and the hails by covering the paper bag when it is exposed to natural environment, which is ensures free passage of air and moisture affecting the improvement of maturing, sugar content, and fleshiness of fruits, and that it is able to obstruct access of birds or insects.
In addition, the present invention is able to easily cover the fruits by attaching the fixture on the paper bag itself, so that the labor of farming family is considerably reduced. More particularly, when the pin of the present invention is used, it is possible to easily close and seal the upper opening part of the paper bag, thus, comparing the prior art paper bags capable of covering the fruits in amount of only about 4,000 sheets a day, the present invention paper bags is capable of covering the fruits in amount of about 10,000 sheets a day. Therefore, the present invention achieves an epoch-making effect that the cost of about 25 won (Korean currency) required to cover one paper bag is lowered up to about 10 won.
