Abstract

L'invention est relative aux diverses utilisations d'une nouvelle famille d'enzymes, désignée THYX, capables de catalyser la synthèse de la thymidine 5'-monophosphate en l'absence d'une enzyme thymidylate synthase (ThyA) active. L'invention concerne aussi des milieux de réaction pour l'activité thymidylate synthase d'un polypeptide THYX ainsi que des procédés de criblage mettant en uvre lesdits milieux réactionnels, ainsi que des kits pour la mise en luvre de ces procédés.
