Abstract

La présente invention est relative à un procédé de traitement de déchets, à un appareil et à des compositions pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé. Selon l'invention, un procédé de traitement de déchets contenant une matière organique fermentescible, des microorganismes et une matière non fermentescible comporte successivement les opérations suivantes: A) provoquer une dégradation partielle de la matière organique fermentescible des déchets placés dans un premier conteneur (2) fermé et ventilé, par action des microorganismes contenus dans les déchets, B) transférer les produits obtenus à l'issue de l'opération A) dans un deuxième conteneur (9) de préférence fermé, et maintenir en contact avec une base forte les produits transférés dans ce conteneur.
