Abstract

Selon le procédé, le rayonnement optique est interrompu et dispersé tour à tour par chaque élément (3) d'un obturateur optique à matrice (2) grâce à la diminution de la transmission de la lumière, le rayonnement optique résiduel étant dirigé vers les yeux à travers l'obturateur optique à matrice. Le rayonnement optique réfléchi par les yeux (23) est focalisé sur une surface sensible du récepteur (5) du rayonnement optique et transformé en un signal électrique, qui est amplifié et comparé à un niveau de seuil. Lorsque le niveau de seuil est dépassé, on sélectionne les éléments de l'obturateur optique à matrice ayant dirigé vers les yeux le rayonnement optique provenant de la source d'aveuglement, et l'on réduit l'émission de la lumière par les éléments choisis de la matrice.
