Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine hydrostatique à pistons axiaux réglable, qui comprend un bloc-cylindres en forme de tambour (3) monté solidaire en rotation sur un arbre d'entraînement ou de sortie (1) dont une extrémité est logée dans un alésage du fond (6) d'un carter en forme de creuset (4), et pourvu concentriquement et parallèlement à sa ligne médiane d'alésages de cylindre dans lesquels sont logés des pistons déplaçables axialement qui s'appuient, par l'intermédiaire de têtes sphériques, sur une surface inclinée ou sur une face inclinée d'un corps en berceau (14), logé pivotant dans le carter par des paliers à roulement (16) sur des tourillons d'arbre (15) et muni d'un entraînement de pivotement. La machine à pistons axiaux selon l'invention se caractérise en ce que le carter (4) est pourvu, sur sa face interne des deux côtés de l'arbre d'entraînement ou de sortie (1), de coques à peu près semi-cylindriques (10) dans lesquelles sont logés les paliers de roulement (16) et dans lesquelles ces paliers sont maintenus par des pièces de maintien en étrier (18).
