Abstract

The invention relates to an adjustable hydrostatic axial piston machine comprising a drum-type cylinder block (3), which is mounted onto a drive shaft or output shaft (1), one end of which is mounted in a bore of the base (6) of a well-shaped housing (4). Said cylinder block is retained so that it cannot rotate and is provided concentrically with cylinder bores running parallel to the central line of the block. Axially displaceable pistons are arranged in the bores, said pistons being supported by spherical heads against an oblique surface or an oblique face of a cradle-shaped body (14), which is pivotally mounted by anti-friction bearings (16) on shaft journals (15) and is provided with a pivoting drive.
