Abstract

L'invention concerne l'isolation et le clonage d'une séquence d'acide nucléique codant l'AMP-désaminase issue d'Arabidopsis thaliana. La molécule d'acide nucléique isolée contenant la séquence d'acide nucléique permet l'expression et l'isolation d'une AMP-désaminase végétale très pure qui permet de détecter des inhibiteurs herbicides de cette AMP-désaminase. Des plantes transgéniques peuvent en outre être obtenues à l'aide de cette AMP-désaminase isolée, lesdites plantes manifestant une résistance accrue vis-à-vis d'inhibiteurs d'AMP-désaminase.
