Abstract

La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique orale à libération lente contenant au moins un antibiotique β-lactame, destinée à libérer le médicament pendant une longue période lors de son administration. Cette composition pharmaceutique convient pour maintenir la concentration thérapeutique souhaitée du principe actif dans le sang pendant de longues périodes, remplissant ainsi les conditions permettant de gérer efficacement des maladies infectieuses. Cette composition pharmaceutique se présente sous forme de cachet, de capsule ou de sirop sec dont la reconstitution liquide se fait au moment de l'administration, et elle libère le principe actif en dose initiale et en dose de maintenance à un débit spécifique. Cette invention concerne aussi un processus de préparation de cette composition pharmaceutique à libération lente contenant des antibiotiques β-lactame.
