Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de contrôle de la vitesse du vent destiné à commander et à réguler la vitesse du vent entrant dans un système de conversion de l'énergie éolienne. Ledit contrôleur comprend une structure cylindrique réglable comportant une entrée et une sortie. L'entrée est logée dans un châssis circulaire, lequel châssis renferme des plaques métalliques semi-circulaires chevauchantes pouvant glisser l'une sur l'autre, provoquant ainsi l'agrandissement ou le rétrécissement de l'orifice d'entrée. L'entrée réglable est connectée à la sortie par une bande de caoutchouc extensible formant le pourtour de la structure cylindrique. La sortie, qui fait face à la turbine, a un diamètre fixe légèrement supérieur au diamètre de la turbine. La turbine provoque la rotation d'un générateur électrique, entraînant ainsi la production d'énergie électrique régulée.
