  • the means for reducing air pressure evacuates air from the receptacle within a predetermined range of pressure.

If the pressure within the receptacle is raised due to opening the receptacle by a user taking tobacco or tobacco products therefrom, the air pressure can be reduced again by evacuating air from the receptacle after closing the receptacle. Therefore, changes of air pressure due to handling the receptacle and to outside influences, such as damages causing minimal leaks in the receptacle, can be compensated for by these air pressure reducing means.
  • the means for reducing air pressure is a pump which is connected to the receptacle and provided with an air inlet connected to the storage cavity of the receptacle and with an air outlet discharging to the exterior of the receptacle .

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de protection du tabac ou d'un produit du tabac, tel que des cigares, qui consiste à isoler ledit tabac ou produit du tabac, de sorte que l'air ne puisse pénétrer dans la cavité d'un récipient, d'un emballage ou d'un réceptacle, la pression dans la cavité étant inférieure à la pression atmosphérique. L'invention concerne également un récipient ou un emballage contenant du tabac ou un produit du tabac, notamment un produit du tabac se présentant sous la forme de cigares, dans une cavité de stockage hermétiquement fermée dans laquelle le tabac ou le produit du tabac est maintenu sous une pression négative inférieure à la pression atmosphérique.
