Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble essieu à suspension pneumatique, doté d'un système de freinage et notamment destiné à une remorque. Le système de freinage comprend un dispositif de réglage (5) fixé à l'étrier de frein (4) et entraîné par un moteur électrique (6). Ce dispositif de réglage est destiné à produire la pression de freinage en direction du disque de frein (10). Pour obtenir un système de freinage de construction flexible et d'entretien facile, le moteur électrique (6) est fixé au corps essieu (2) séparément du dispositif de réglage (5) dans l'ensemble essieu. Le moteur électrique (6) et le dispositif de réglage (5) sont raccordés, bloqués en rotation, par l'intermédiaire d'un arbre moteur (7) qui est perpendiculaire au sens de marche et est sensiblement parallèle au corps essieu (2).
