Abstract

According to the invention, a coal-water fuel is produced in a rotary-jet mill by means of a dry grinding pre-crushed original coal, having a particle size of less than 3 mm, in order to obtain a particle size of 20 νm. During grinding the coal is separated from the mineral components and the coal particles are rendered hydrophobic. The coal particles are mixed with water in a hydraulic dispenser accompanied by the production of a colloidal hydraulic fuel which contains 70-80 % mass units and more of a solid phase having a particle size of less than 5 νm. The invention is used to produce coal-water fuel possessing improved mechanical-and-physical, structural-rheological, thermophysical and ecological properties enabling said coal-water fuel to withstand stationary storage and transportation and be burnt in various power installations, including diesel and gas-turbine installations.
