Abstract

Ankle protector that can be adapted to or is integral with the shoe. In the first case, it has a half sole with a geometric perforation in the back part thereof for the purpose of locating known cushioning systems that are already built into the shoe such as air-absorb, etc. Said half sole includes an extension on the outer lateral part thereof that goes up trough the interior of the shoe and is fitted with an orifice on its upper part, accommodating the outer melleolus of the ankle, which is surrounded by a cushion absorbing impact in case of a sprain. Said extension continues downward in the form of a tongue reaching almost to the level of the ground and acting as a lever against the ground thereby blocking strain. As integral part of the shoe, the protector has an anchoring or geometric base fitted with a hollow central part designed to accommodate already known cushioning systems. Said anchoring can be inserted in the sole and base of the shoe and is attached with straps to the extension in the form of a wedge, which is sewn on, glued to or inserted into the outer side of the shoe. As in the previous case, it serves as a lever between the ground and the ankle thereby blocking strain.

OBJETO DE LA INVENCIÓN:OBJECT OF THE INVENTION:

El objeto de este nuevo diseno de protector de tobillo, se refiere a una media plantilla, integrada a una extencion rigida que sale del calzado en forma de lengua o concha, y que tiene por objeto, evitar que se doble el tobillo hacia afuera lesionándose, mientras se camina o se practica algún tipo de depor- te previniendo esta común lesión. Este aditamento, puede ser en una sola pieza adaptable a cualquier calzado de piso, o ser parte integral de la mayoria del calzado deportivo, a fin de evitar esta lesión.The object of this new design of ankle protector, refers to a half insole, integrated to a stiff extension that comes out of the footwear in the form of a tongue or shell, and which is intended to prevent the ankle from bending out by injuring itself, while walking or practicing some kind of sport preventing this common injury. This attachment can be in one piece adaptable to any floor shoe, or be an integral part of most sports shoes, in order to avoid this injury.

ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN: Actualmente el calzado convencional y deportivo que no cubre el tobillo por razones de movilidad y la nesecidad de algunas personas con deficiencias o debilidad de los tendones del tobillo, nace la nesecidad de crear un aditamento que pueda fabricarse integrado al calzado convencional y deportivo, y co- mo un aditamento separado, que pueda instalarse a cualquier tipo de calzado que rio cubra el tobillo; esto con el único fin de evitar que el tobillo se doble hacia afuera, lesionan- dose. ya que es sabido, esta es una de las mas comunes lesiones causada por la practica de los deportes. Con el fin de encontrar una solución ideal para prevenir esta dolorosa, costosa y común lesión, me he enfocado a diseñar un aditamento que pueda resolver este problema, y el cual pretendo proteger en esta solicitud. CLAIMS:

Having described and defined my invention sufficiently, I consider it as a novelty and therefore I claim it from my exclusive property contained in the following clauses: 1) Ankle protective attachment, consisting of half a template with a geometric shaped perforation in the rear central part, and tiane an extension integrated in the side that goes up, and bends over itself outward and down.
