Abstract
Cette invention concerne un procédé thermochimique permettant de détruire et de recycler des billets de banque, des titres ainsi que des déchets analogues. Ce procédé consiste à faire tremper la matière première dans une solution saline de chlorures de métaux alcalino-terreux, puis à effectuer un traitement thermique de la pulpe ainsi obtenue à une température de 300 à 400 °C et pendant 15 à 30 minutes avant de condenser les gaz à extraire. Les résidus solides sont ensuite lixiviés à l'aide de la solution obtenue à partir du condensât, puis recyclés. La solution usée est ensuite renvoyée vers l'étape de trempage ou envoyée vers une étape de séparation des métaux. La concentration de la solution saline en chlorures de métaux alcalino-terreux est proche du seuil de saturation lors de conditions normales.
