Abstract

The invention concerns a device with units which can be stacked (1) each comprising several parallel channels (3), open at the top, for receiving the products (P), in the opening of which is engaged the unit (1') lid element (4') which is above it, characterised in that it comprises means, such as a piston (5) stressed by a spring (6) adapted to compress the product longitudinally inside each channel. The invention is useful for moulding food products, in particular for cooking ham.
