Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to improvements and improvements to the supports and associated containers for loading objects which have been described and claimed in French patent application No. 86 07855 filed on June 28, 1986 by the present applicant.
The supports and associated containers are used to load and group together, with a view to subjecting them to a treatment operation, and then unloading a large quantity of objects.
More particularly, they serve to bring food products, such as hams under vacuum, from a loading station to a cooking cell, and from this to an unloading station.
The supports, with their containers, are designed to be stacked or discharged by means of manipulators.
The main application support mentioned above comprises two first parallel bars in a lower horizontal plane, between which are associated receptacles, and two second bars also parallel, in an upper horizontal plane, and perpendicular to the first bars, the first and second bars being joined by four feet forming two pairs respectively in the vertical planes of each first bar, the four feet also being inclined so as to approach two by two upwards, the feet having on their opposite faces in each pair of the first stops oriented downwards at a certain distance from their bases, the upper ends of the feet being welded to the underside of said second bars, the ends of the first bars being welded to the feet, at a certain distance above their lower end, each second bar with two seconds on its upper face b used, the support being stackable on another identical support, the second bars of the lower support being housed without play in angles formed by the lower parts of the feet of the upper support and said first stops, the second stops of the second bars of the lower support preventing then any play of the first stops and, consequently, of the upper support in the direction of said second bars.
In the embodiment described, said first stops are formed by the lower edge of the first bars and the containers rest on them. The second bars protrude from the feet. The first bars are connected to the feet by welding. Because of the weight represented by a support of which the receptacles are filled, of the order of 100 kg, these connections are subjected to a lot of effort, especially in the lower part of a stack.
An object of the present invention is to provide supports having more robust connections.
According to a characteristic of the invention, the first bars are vertical plates of a certain height welded by their lateral sides to the external faces of the feet and comprising on their internal faces hooking means for the associated containers.
According to another characteristic of the invention, said first stops are tabs projecting from the opposite faces in each pair, said second bars being welded to the feet by their ends, the outer edges of said second stops of each second bar, set back by relative to the ends of the latter, being in a downward slope towards the outside and the distance separating their bases being exactly equal to that which separates the cleats from two feet connected to the same second bar.
According to another characteristic of the invention, said associated containers are welded by their ends to the internal faces of the plates forming said first bars.
The characteristics of the invention mentioned above, as well as others, will appear more clearly on reading the following description of an exemplary embodiment, said description being made in relation to the accompanying drawings, among which:
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a support with associated containers according to the invention, and
Fig. 2 is a partial view showing the front left corner of two supports and associated containers stacked.
In Fig. 1, the support 1 has four feet. 2 to 5 forming two pairs, each in a vertical plane. In the vertical planes, the feet 2 to 5 are also inclined and, in each pair, they approach upwards. Foot 2 is therefore parallel to foot 4 and foot 3 to foot 5.
By their upper ends, the feet 2 and 4 are welded under the ends of a round bar 6 and the feet 3 and 5 under the ends of an identical bar 7, the bars 6 and 7 being parallel and in the same horizontal plane .
In the direction perpendicular to the bars 6 and 7, the feet 2 and 3 are joined by a vertical plate 8 and the feet 4 and 5 by a vertical plate 9. The plates 8 and 9 have the shape of elongated isosceles trapezoids whose bases are horizontal. The large bases or lower edges of the plates 8 and 9 are in a horizontal plane at a certain distance from the base of the support 1. The plates 8 and 9 are welded along their lateral sides to the external faces of the legs 2 to 5. The welds thus produced have a relatively large surface area and constitute solid bonds.
Between the plates 8 and 9, there are arranged associated receptacles which are troughs with U-shaped profile 10. The troughs 10 do not have end walls and are welded by their sides 11 to the internal faces of the plates 8 and 9. The -plates 8 and 9 therefore close, at least partially, the chutes 10 at their ends.
In the embodiment shown, the bottom 12 of the troughs 10 is located below the lower edges of the plates 8 and 9.
Thus, at each end, the chutes 10 have a lumen 13 between the bottom and the edge of the plates 8 or 9. Through the lumens 13, the juice possibly released by food contained in the chutes during cooking can flow. Of course, the upper edges of the troughs 10 are at a level lower than that of the bars 8 and 9.
Dans l'exemple de réalisation montré, ils sont cependant au-dessus des bords supérieurs des plaques 8 et 9.In the embodiment shown, however, they are above the upper edges of the plates 8 and 9.
In the following description, the word "support" will designate the assembly formed by a support 1 and the troughs 10 which are associated with it.
Near each of their ends, the bars 8 and 9 have substantially vertical stops 14 arranged radially upwards. The outer edges of the stops 14 are sloping downwards towards the outside.
On the opposite faces in each pair of feet 2 to 5, protrusions 15 protrude, which can be seen more clearly in FIG. 2. The cleats 15 are small vertical plates. Their lower edge, substantially horizontal, is at a certain distance from the lower ends of the feet 2 to 5. This distance is such that, at said edges, the distance between the opposite walls of the two feet of the same pair is exactly equal to the distance separating the bars 6 and 7, increased by twice the diameter of said bars In practice, the edge of the cleats 15 is at a level close to that of the lower edges of the plates 8 and 9. It can be seen, FIG. 2, that when stacking, the tabs 15 of the upper support come to rest on the bars 8 and 9 of the lower support, these then being in contact with the faces of the feet carrying the tabs, so that once the supports stacked, there is no play in the direction of the plates 8 and 9.
In a different embodiment, the function of the cleats 15 can be ensured by the lower edge of the plates 8 and 9, but it is then necessary for the bars 6 and 7 to protrude slightly relative to the feet.
On each bar 6 or 7, the bases of the outer edges of the stops 14 are spaced the same length as that which separates the cleats of two feet joined to the same bar 6 or 7. Thus, once the supports stacked, the play is zero in the direction of bars 6 and 7.
On the other hand, by their respective inclinations, the feet 2 to 5 and the external edges of the stops 14 constitute guides which, when stacked, ensure perfect wedging between two supports, even if the upper support is not rigorously presented. above the lower support by a manipulator.
The support according to the invention has the advantage of having reinforced connections. In addition, as the associated containers are welded to the plates 8 and 9, they also contribute to the rigidity of the assembly. The unloading of the products can be carried out by turning over the support, which represents a significant time saving.
