Abstract

The invention relates to the use of nonoxynol-9 as lubricant (3). Nonoxynol-9 is contained in an aqueous mixture for wetting and/or coating the mucosae of a genital organ (1) or for producing a coating on or in said organ (1). The invention further relates to a method for producing a lubricant (3) according to which a mixture is prepared from nonoxynol-9, lactic acid, water as well as possibly at least one other substance, preferably an odoriferous agent. For temporary wetting and/or coating said aqueous mixture is applied preferably finely nebulized or as a spray (4) onto the corresponding parts, especially the mucosae of the genital organs (1).
