Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé et un appareil de nettoyage et d'élimination des résidus de la surface de récipients consistant à porter le récipient et les résidus adhérant à sa surface à basse température de manière à fragiliser lesdits résidus, puis à les fragmenter, puis à les séparer de la surface du récipient, puis à les extraire du récipient. On place le récipient dans une enceinte comportant à son sommet une ouverture pour accéder à l'intérieur quand son couvercle est retiré. Le système est muni d'une base tournante pour faire tourner le récipient et faciliter son refroidissement et l'extraction des résidus. L'invention porte également sur un récipient pour produits industriels adapté au nettoyage cryogénique, comportant un corps cylindrique ouvert à son sommet sur la quasi-totalité de son diamètre et présentant une collerette tournée vers l'extérieur et une bande intérieure d'étanchéité s'étendant en hauteur au-dessus du sommet de la collerette, la collerette et la bande formant un angle aigu. Le corps porte un couvercle dont la paroi latérale cylindrique tournée vers le bas se termine par une collerette tournée vers l'extérieur et formant un angle obtus avec la paroi latérale. Lorsque le couvercle repose sur l'extrémité ouverte du corps, la collerette du couvercle est placée au-dessus de celle du corps, et la bande d'étanchéité chevauche la paroi latérale du couvercle. Le récipient est en outre muni d'un joint étanche placé dans le canal formé par la bande intérieure d'étanchéité, la collerette du corps et la collerette du couvercle, et d'une bride de fixation exerçant sur les collerettes du corps et du couvercle une force les pressant contre le joint.
