Abstract

The invention relates to the rapid exchange of membranes for vacuum-stretch and/or drying machines for use in the leather industry, which saves both the machine operator and the membrane producer considerable amounts of time, labour and money. Known holding devices, which consist of at least two parts that have to be laboriously assembled by the machine operator or membrane producer, are replaced by an elastic connecting element (2), the entire surface of which is rapidly and simply glued or vulcanized onto the membrane (1) by the membrane producer. The elastic connecting element supports a plate (3) which has guide elements (3a) for the separate holding foot (4) that transmits the power transmitted by the machine. For more reliable attachment, the connecting element (2) and membrane (1) can be firmly joined to a counter plate (6). The one-piece holding device can also be embodied as an elastic bracket which by natural pretension hooks around the elastic connecting element (2) and upper surface of the membrane and on the side of the connecting element carries the guide elements (3a) for the separate holding foot (4).

Bei der herkömmlichen Membrane wird eine separate zweiteilige Metall- halterung mit integriertem Halterfuß angewendet, welche mechanisch mittels einer Vielzahl von Schrauben und Muttern beiderseitig auf dem Membranenrand angebracht wird. Diese muß bei jedem Membranenwechsel zunächst demontiert und dann auf die neue Membrane wieder montiert werden. Dieser Vorgang erfolgt bei dem Maschinenbenutzer und erfordert einen mehrstündigen Einsatz seines technischen Personals, wobei die Maschine außer Betrieb ist. Die Bestrebung diese Nachteile durch eine zweiteilige Kunststoffhalterung , die im Einwegsystem auf die Membrane angebracht ist, zu beheben, hat sich ebenfalls als sehr zeitaufwendig gezeigt. Der hohe Zeit- und damit Kostenaufwand hat sich lediglich vom Maschiπenbenutzer zum Membranenhersteller verlagert. Außerdem zeigten die Kunststoffteile nach längerem Einsatz Materialermüdung, die sich negativ auf die Lebensdauer der Membrane auswirkte.The conventional membrane uses a separate two-part metal bracket with an integrated bracket base, which is mechanically attached to the edge of the membrane on both sides using a large number of screws and nuts. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Membrane zu konstruieren, die den Zeit-, Arbeits- und Kostenaufwand sowohl bei dem Benutzer der Maschine als auch beim Membranenhersteller erheblich reduziert. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß anstatt der Halterung - sei es die zweiteigite separate Metallhalterung oder die mit der Membrane fest verbundene zweiteilige Kunststoffhalterung - deren Montage gleichermaßen zeit- und kostspielig ist, ein elastisches Verbindungsteil auf die Membrane angebracht wird, welches der Träger einer Platte mit Führungen für den separaten Halterungsfuß ist. Die Anbringung dieses Teiles erfolgt beim Membranenhersteller durch das einfache Ankleben auf die Membrane; ggf. mit erhöhter Haftungssicherung nach Anspruch 2. Der Maschinenbenutzer schiebt bei dem Einsatz einer derart konstruierten Membrane lediglich den separaten Halterungsfuß in die Führungen.
