Abstract

La présente invention concerne la construction de moyens de transport, et plus particulièrement les systèmes de transport aériens de passagers et marchandises. Ce système de transport comporte une voie suspendue montée sur des traverses latérales, dont les extrémités sont fixées à des supports. Dans une variante, la voie suspendue est montée à la surface du sol; dans d'autres, elle peut, en position initiale, être mise à hauteur requise. Un moyen de transport sur roues qui, dans sa position initiale, prend appui par ses roues sur la voie suspendue, est équipé d'éléments de surface aérodynamiques qui génèrent par la suite, lors du déplacement horizontal, une force d'élévation ayant pour effet d'élever ledit moyen de transport au dessus de la voie suspendue et de l'alléger de son poids. Les roues motrices du moyen de transport restent en contact avec les glissières pour assurer son déplacement horizontal, tandis que la voie suspendue reste en position surélevée au dessus du sol.
