Abstract

Cette invention concerne un appareil et des systèmes permettant de transporter des emballages globalement cylindriques (16), lesquels font appel (a) à un cadre (68) qui comprend un dispositif de support (126) comportant au moins un élément de support compressible (194), ainsi qu'un dispositif de pivot permettant de faire pivoter le dispositif de support autour d'un axe globalement vertical (71). Ce dispositif de support peut se déplacer le long d'un axe globalement vertical, et passer d'une première position prédéterminée en une seconde position prédéterminée. Lorsqu'il est dans la première position, le dispositif de support se trouve à une certaine distance en-dessous de la surface externe d'un emballage cylindrique (16) qui est télescopé de manière amovible sur un élément (44) globalement horizontal d'un support en un premier emplacement prédéterminé. Dans la seconde position, l'élément de support compressible va entrer en contact avec une partie au moins de la surface externe (130) de l'emballage cylindrique (16), et supporter cette partie. Cet appareil et ces systèmes font également appel à un système de chariot (104); (b) qui est connecté au cadre (68) et qui supporte celui-ci. Le chariot de ce système permet de déplacer le cadre entre une première position prédéterminée, où il se trouve à proximité du support (42), et une seconde position prédéterminée où il est espacé horizontalement par rapport à la première position. Il est ainsi possible de retirer l'emballage cylindrique de son premier emplacement prédéterminé sur l'élément (44) globalement horizontal du support, et de le transporter vers le second emplacement prédéterminé qui est espacé horizontalement par rapport au premier.
