Abstract

On peut fabriquer une protection antimicrobienne pour des gants de protection, en mélangeant un agent antimicrobien dans un plastisol pour gants de sorte que l'agent antimicrobien migre dans les surfaces exposées des gants lorsque ledit agent a presque disparu de la surface du gant. On peut fabriquer des gants antimicrobiens destinés à l'industrie alimentaire en utilisant un procédé de trempage à froid conjointement avec un plastisol qui contient: (a) 43 à 53 % en poids d'une résine polymère telle qu'un chlorure de polyvinyle (PVC), du polyéthylène polypropylène (PE) ou du polyuréthane, (b) 43 à 53 % de plastifiant tel que le DINP, (c) 2,7 à 4,7 % d'un stabilisant tel que CaZn, et (d) 0,3 à 1,0 % de triclosan (2,4,4'-trichloro-2'-hydroxydiphényléther).
