Abstract

L'administration précoce de Lactobacillus GG pendant la phase de réhydratation permet de raccourcir la durée de la diarrhée, de prévenir le syndrome d'allergie alimentaire s'ensuivant chez le patient, et de stimuler une augmentation rapide du poids. Pour ce faire, on a produit une préparation à administrer par voie buccale et constituée d'une solution de réhydration orale de type commercial, tel que Dicodral 60, dans laquelle est contenue une dose efficace de ferments Lactobacillus GG à la fois vivants et inactivés.
