Abstract

Le transformateur (10) à isolant solide comporte un noyau rectangulaire (50) recouvert d'un caoutchouc mousse à cellules fermées compressible, de façon à éliminer la contrainte durant la cuisson du matériau diélectrique moulé (18) entourant le noyau, et durant le fonctionnement. Des caloducs (22) placés entre la bobine interne et le noyau permettent d'évacuer la chaleur avant que la température augmente. Pour assurer la sécurité et éliminer la nécessité d'une enceinte séparée, un boîtier multicouche externe (16), comportant une couche conductrice de mise à la masse incorporée, recouvre les côtés du corps moulé. Le boîtier externe empêche l'explosion en cas de claquage du diélectrique et de formation d'arc, et réduit le risque de choc électrique.
